CENTER + PINE

The existing 1950’s concrete structure motor lodge was completely gutted down to the structural frame, in it we designed two floors of 22 urban loft style apartments. The units range from a 400 square foot studio, 600 square foot 1 bedroom and a 700 square foot two bedroom. The circulation is now through an internal secure hallway in lieu of the original exterior perimeter walkway, this allowed for an expansive north facing glass wall with balcony spaces for the second floor. We added 2,300 square feet of commercial space on the ground level which provides a pedestrian street presence and conceals the internal parking.
