CARSON DERMATOLOGY

Carson Dermatology hired Frame Architecture to design a new medical office building in the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center campus on the north end of Carson City. The client wanted a "soft" contemporary design. The project is oriented so that the main lobby receives the most passive solar gain and will radiate throughout the building. The exterior consists of multiple finishes from 16"x30" stone veneer, aluminum panel siding, 12"x24" ceramic tile and stucco. The interior has multiple functions from the normal exam/treatment rooms, MOHS surgery and a medical spa. The Doctor/Nurses stations are illuminated with celrestory windows to bring natural light into the interior core.
